About Storybook Farms
|
Our Story
STORYBOOK FARM was founded in 1991. We grow and market fresh produce, cut flowers, and registered Shire draft horses. STORYBOOK FARM offers riding
and driving lessons for beginners of all ages on calm, well trained horses with the goal of introducing horsemanship and responsible pet ownership in
a safe, wholesome and FUN environment. Programs are also offered to schools, both public and private, either on our farm, or at their location, to
introduce individuals to horses and horsemanship, with an emphasis on safety and general care. These presentations include hand out materials, and
of course, a live horse for those who wish to paticipate in a hands on activity! A more detailed home school program will be offered beginning Fall
semester, 2006. In addition, STORYBOOK FARM offers a traveling presentation seriese for all ages and group interests, utilizing Humane Education
programs to introduce and promote compassion towards animals and our fellow human beings. Live animals and hand out materials are also included with
these visits, based on the groups needs or interests. We look forward to meeting you, and sharing our dream with you or your group!
